so at dinner today brenda reminded me of this INCREDIBLY FUNNY thing that happened at school last year

well you know how i'm always rushing to be right on time for school 7:24am before the 7:25am bell. and once i was already late, the bell rung JUST before i sat down. and delano being as funny as he is, he motioned to me to come and hurry sit down and escape white patch and detention and was all "hurry melissa come sit down" and then ms fauziah standing above who saw spoke into the mic saying "delano stop asking that girl to sit down, she's already late. girl go to the white patch"

maybe it was funnier last time.

haha. i miss sitting down for assemblies and actually having time to read....... now its so busy we dont have time to read books.

we had dinner @ marche today, it was stef's birthday (oh andhappy birthday to juanne today too!)

latest voice announcement: not gonna sing until my voice has had enough rest (so demanding) and rly gonna pray that God will heal my voice before competition and concert..

today was the shortest/easiest? day of my week. wednesday -sigh-. marks the middle of the week. why does time pass so fast? we have to study for our tests in double quick time, got 4 horrid tests next week- econs case study, essay, chem, math. all in a week. thanks teachers.

had choir, sat out halfway and talked to val for a really long time. :) it was nice. and i loved the rain today. today choir had a whole sickbay of sick people -GERMS-

i really really want to contribute to the choir's sound but i can't, i wish the other people who have well voices can sing their best too so we can move a level up and up and up up. we need to, competition and concert is SO soon.

YEP, had choir today. den went to see the ENT at gleneagles

1)i did a scope he stuck a tube down my nostril eugh
2)he said my vocal cords are beautiful
3)he said my cords are oddly tall and long for a girl- and also added that i really am not made to be a soprano!!!!!!!!!! and its soo weird cuz i've been in soprano all this while... and i love sop1 :( sigh gotta change section i think
4)spotted a really really tiny nodule on my right cord but he says itll go away in abt 3 mths if i dont strain my voice and sing over my range. that nodule probably caused the difference in voice quality

yup, i'm no soprano anymore!! :(

but thank God everything's ok. really thank God.

then went to novena, met the legendary rocker 4e2 for dinner @ kenny roger's. had a blast, love yall. love catching up. its like nothing changed. we're still so close! i wish that will never EVER change. <3

gotta have more dinners and stuff!!!!!!!

wow. my itunes was on shuffle and it came to the theme song for 'a new beginning', beatty's drama production when i was just sec1. i still rmb how in awe i was of alicia's voice and how much i wanted to sing like her for the school too.. and thinking back now after i've graduated, i've been given so many opportunities to sing for the school. really thank God. first for Official Opening where i sang with alicia, then recording that little solo part for oo song, then recording with the bty choir, then singing for beatty idol, singing with the llamas for teachers day, ........ wow. it's been fun.

well choir is good too but sucks awfully because i cant sing (so defeats the purpose huh). we took our measurements for our outfit today yay! choir ended early today cuz some of us were gna go to the NUS choir concert at esplanade. it was not bad. except a lil boring at times. and stupid asaph poked me twice in mid song. which gave me a shock. trained home, talked to germo for abit. happy cuz im gonna meet her tmr after modular training

today i got really affected. went to the doc and my voice is really quite bad. the doc isn't really sure whats wrong, but he told me to rest my voice and gave me a gargle + pills. if it doesn't get better after 2 weeks, i'll be referred to an ENT to do a scope, and if its bad i could get a vocal therapist.. and i might not heal and get back my voice quality anymore

i've been thinking about it alot and i know its.. its not a coincidence.. i know there are things happening that's makin it this way and i know God is putting me thru a season where i need to learn to humble myself again, and to really surrender to Him and put aside every single thing thats happening in my life now and just worship him in spirit and in truth.. wholeheartedly.. to live my life for him.. to mean what i sing in church.. to serve with a pure heart.. there are so many things,

God you reign over me.. i want to come back. sucks to be so far, will you take me in again?

i'm gonna have to learn that some things are just so much more important than my voice.

like how i really wanted to sing for Nat/Daniel's church event which will be so fun and cool.. and stuff.. but i cant sing. and for all the auditions. and so many other things.

gah, i miss chloe. 10000%.

hi yall. tmr's thursA, and thursA sucks!! really long day and got PE. i really don't know how i will survive in my class until next year, everyday i just can't wait for lessons to end so i can get the hell out. am i just being pessimistic or what. aya. but one thing is- choir is the best part of school. even if its tiring, and we have to stand up, and it ends late. choir! <3

haha. well. today i did my 2nd round auditions for belle. my voice was really chuiiiiiii today, like during sectionals already i stopped singing halfway cuz my voice keep breaking + it felt so tired+ whatnot. then they asked me to just give audutions a shot, so i did. i was so sure my voice was gonna break at the high part!! and true enough it did:( ahha but well i hope the rest of my audition was OK, i mean it didnt have to be awesome, just not embarrassing hahaha. well im soo rooting for Jin to be belle! cuz i know i cant be belle cuz of my voice condition now its so hard to sing high notes and control it. risky. imagine i zhao xia on stage haha! :O

oh mr toh told me to go see a doctor cuz my voice really something wrong!! i hope its not too serious........... and it better heal:( or ill be so sad :( omg :( yup i need to heal in time for czech!!!!!!
