This blog post is dedicated to all my friends who have backslided. Its not about the church, nor its systems and its people- don't let these things get in the way- its about the grace-abundant merciful, loving and almighty God who sent His son down to die on the cross for our sins and gave us freedom and an abundant life. If you ever forgot, God still and will always love you dearly, and He is always knocking at the door of your heart until the day of judgment.

Rev3:20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.

2Chron7:14-15 If my people, who are called by my name will humble themselves, and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to prayer made in this place.

thank You God for not forsaking me there today in SMU when I was about to fail the interview...

the article was ridonkulously long to read for 15 minutes and so much to digest/sift out! and we couldnt write on the article so it was rly hard to organise the article and my thoughts. so i read like 2/5 of the pages and 15minutes was up. i barely knew what was going on in the article. then i asked God to help me cuz i was so so so so so inadequate.

amazingly He just put some words in my mouth and i spoke sufficiently, and rather confidently (i think). and i spoke relevantly.

so i just wanna thank God because He is always faithful to uphold us in our weaknesses. so happy i'm done and over with this interview!

hello, BLOG.

TODAY was a fruitful and productive day at work. I started the new sampling "Afternoon Delights" at the grocery where we serve Scones with Strawberry Jam and Clotted Cream SUPER YUMMY. and Taylor Teas. it was super sian at first cuz I was scheduled alone at the grocery and i really could have used some help with the walking back and forth the pantry washing several teapots and tea dispensers and boiling water etc! but it was worth it cuz the sampling went really well and we made quite a bit of sales from teas and clotted cream and jam today!!!! so happy :)

it was so busy in my shift that i didnt have time to eat lunch until like 4:15 but oh well. i ate omelette modanyaki :) i bought quite some stuff today too- Harissa Almonds, UCC blue mountain coffee, venchi choc. $$. but rly thank God cuz the taka cashiers are SUPER NICE to me now! one of them even secretly gave me her staff discount on the coffee i bought. so sweet. im so very happy at the sudden change in attitude towards me :) maybe cuz 2 groups of customers told them that im v patient n nice LOL!! :p

went to meet glen after. we sat at coffeebean while i studied my BTT book ha ha ha. it was so boring i stopped at pg 22. i had choc banana frappe which made me wanna puke cuz i was so full and i concluded that banana in a drink does not taste nice cuz it has this weird artificial flavor!! anyway. we clowned around for abit and settled at NYDC for dinner where glen ate a horribly creamy and cheesy baked pasta. and i ate some pasta too LOL. i think i was so stuffed i started getting a real bad tummyache. so i went to **** at united sq. anyway, it was a terrible experience more so because the person in the next cubicle kept making weird sounds like shes putting her finger to gag herself but trying to keep it silent so IT WAS V DISTURBING, and i could also hear her breathing v heavily like she was crying or something. and it lasted for v long and i could not do my business in peace, cuz i had to cover my ears but still, that couldnt block out the noises she was making. i think she is bulimic or something. God bless that poor girl.

So that is the end of my day. going to sleep real soon cuz i have a long day tmr- morning shift at venchi, rollerblading job "meeting" at novena, dinner at Hans w cell at 6:45, easter svc at 8pm. WOW.

hey guys, while i was at work @ Venchi today, i got a call from SMU to inform me that I have been shortlisted for an interview next wednesday. I was so happy! And now I am quite scared....... but i rmb that my Lord does not forsake me in my weaknesses.
