Sometimes, I feel like I'm spinning off the edge of what I believe in, the things that keep me grounded.
Being in between is definitely not a place to be.

What we did in the Philippines
1. learn to sleep without A/C, in a mosquito net in sweltering heat
2. learn to do meal marketing and haggling
3. learn to bathe with one pail of water and a scoop (miraculous)
4. endure not bathing after one day of intense work in the sun
5. mass dance and cultural practices every night at the shed.
6. lead, direct and plan for my segment for cultural night
7. paint grills and walls and ceilings (most.tiring.)
8. endure dirt and large insects
9. live without a toilet flush
10. anticipate toilets clogged with shit
11. wash toilets
12. wait for everyone to finish bathing every night so I can take my 30min shower and feel clean
13. live with about a million hungry mosquitos every night
14. exercise self control and spam mopiko on our bites (alot on the sole, toes and sides of our feet)
15. play and interact with the village kids
16. organize games day for the kids
17. live life w/o running water
18. spend a ton on snacks and drinks at GBoy's
19. sit out on the side and stand on the back of our pickup truck, greeting the villagers along the way
20. attune my bioclock to a healthy mode
